Wow, what an amazing shot. It looks nearly unreal, as if the trees are alive and will start to walk down the road any minute.

I envy you! I don't care if this is getting a known photography place, this is definitely on my I-really-want-to-see-and-photograph-this list :D It just seems so awesome!

That's exactly how I felt :) At least you got to see the Old Man on Skye... I could only guess its shape through the fog when I was there ;)

Scotland and Ireland are definitely two of the most beautiful places on this planet!

ah yes. the road outside Ballymoney! I have been meaning to visit here myself but photographing it now it starting to seem like a bit of a cliche. A guy took a photo of it with a tractor coming down the road and it got included in this big national photography competition to be in a calendar for "countryfile". Ever since then....meh

It probably is by now, but I don't really care. I love special trees and I love Game of Thrones, so this was a natural photography place for me :)
It doesn't become less special just because more people know about it. Also you can always try to find an angle that isn't quite so cliche ;)

I almost shit myself when i was watching it one night and was like "HOLY FUCK I WAS JUST THERE TAKING PHOTOS LAST WEEK". This place actually - buntcone.deviantart.com/art/an…

i suspect they shoot during the week when most of us are hard (ish) at work. The thing is, when you live here and watch the show then it sort of ruins it a little bit. I was sat there thinking "just over that hill there's a big car park
